UCTV Programming Coming to Ann Arbor's CTN This Fall

University of California television programming is now available on CTN's EduTV 18 beginning this fall.  Knowledge and achievements in science, health and medicine, art, music, theater, humanities and public affairs are shared through a wide range of programs, including documentaries, lectures, interviews and performances. 

EduTV 18:

Tuesdays 12-3 PM  Health & Medicine
The latest in cutting edge research and healthy living

Tuesdays  3-4 PM  Med Ed Hour
Medical programs for health care professionals

Thursdays  7-8 PM  Teachers P.E.T.
Professional education for teachers

 

Northwoods Cooking Show with Uncle Roy & Miss Callie on CTN's Education Station Ch. 18 

Armed with a room full of State Fair Blue Ribbons, Uncle Roy shows you how to make delicious and festive food for every season.  He even has recipes for our furry friends, like his own dog, Miss Callie.

Toledo Stories on Ann Arbor's CTN Ch. 18 

  Thanks to our friends at WGTE Toledo, CTN is now carrying a great series of documentaries focusing on the Toledo, Ohio region, which is just 50 miles south of Ann Arbor. 
"Toledo Stories" is a fascinating look through history.  Programs include:  "Lake Erie, Ohio's Great Lake"; "The Toledo Mud Hens Story"; "The Toledo Museum of Art"; "Toledo On the Air"; "Toledo:  The Early Years";  "The Germans in Toledo"; "The Irish in Toledo"; "The African Americans in Toledo"; "The Polish in Toledo"; "The Toledo Zoo"; and "The House that Glass Built."

New Season of "The Drexel InterView" on CTN Ch. 18   

"The Drexel Interview" is a half-hour, original series featuring interesting people and interesting talk.  Hosted by best-selling author, critic and Drexel University Distinguished Professor of English Paula Marantz Cohen, each episode features an interview with a noteworthy figure.  Guests reflect a diversity of opinions and background and come from fields including art, politics, science, and business.  Visit  www.drexel.edu/univrel/drexel_interview  for more details about the programming Drexel University offers.
